'The Jock' Adventure

Itching for an adventure ASANOX organised a fun active weekend in the Scottish Highlands. Full of Scottish culture the group enjoyed a varied weekend comprising of a ‘wee’ physical challenge, Scottish cuisine and some fun shooting competition.

Flying into Inverness airport we were blessed with a beautiful blue sky. The team assembled and we kicked off the weekend with a whisky trip to Tomatin distillery. After a wee dram and a shop purchase of their 15 year old,  we headed off to the hotel to consume a healthy sized meal to fuel for Ben Nevis the next day. It was an early start on the Saturday morning to which we woke to a cold frost and some lingering mist. We set off up the mountain and could see the mist evaporating as we ascended. The views at the top were quite spectacular and we were silenced by the beauty and clarity of the rolling hills. To round off the day we shot clays with Ben Nevis in the back drop. The evening drew in and the team enjoyed some fine ale, a well earned meal and conversed until our eyelids told us it was time to retire. A spectacular weekend.
